In the export of LED lights, in order to pass the UL certification, manufacturers often use two-component potting glue for potting. The lamps exported to the United States require a 50,000-hour warranty. The quality of the LED lamp bead is no problem at present. The main fault is the power supply. The power supply after potting with potting glue cannot be disassembled. The lamp is discarded for replacement. If the power supply is partially filled with the thermal conductivity mud, the heat can be effectively exported, and if the power supply has a problem, the power supply can be easily replaced to save the cost for the enterprise. Of course for lamps that require waterproofing. Because the thermal conductive mud can not fill all the gaps like the potting glue, it can not be waterproof and moisture-proof, and still need to use potting glue.
